How we assess domains

NameRoz methodology

The NameRoz analytical score is a 0–100 screening aid, not an objective valuation or a prediction of profit. Configurable factors include name clarity, length, commercial relevance, extension fit, price, registration across TLDs, age, backlinks, traffic, revenue, buyer diversity, brandability, and liquidity. Risks such as obvious trademark concerns, suspicious history, awkward wording, and costly renewals can reduce it.

Unknown source values remain unknown. A neutral placeholder is used inside the preliminary calculation rather than inventing a metric. Dynappraisal is displayed where available but does not drive the score. An editor can review the evidence and assign a separate rating such as Worth Watching or Caution. Strong Watch is never published automatically from a number.

Source data and freshness

Prices, bid counts, end times, traffic, revenue, age, backlinks, TLD counts, and appraisals may be supplied by Dynadot exports or later authorized sources. They can be delayed, estimated, or incomplete. A browser countdown uses the stored end time and updates each second; the source page remains authoritative, especially near an auction extension.

Independent checks

Automated trademark screening is not legal clearance. Inspect trademark databases and seek professional advice where appropriate. Review archived website history and backlink quality. Registration age is not the same as website history. No traffic, parking revenue, resale value, or future sale is guaranteed.

For a practical workflow, read the beginner’s guide and bid-setting guide.
