Privacy policy
NameRoz stores anonymous watchlists and the Beginner Mode setting in your browser's local storage. These do not require an account. Clearing browser storage removes them from that device.
If you create a member account, we store your email, optional display name, sign-in provider identifiers, session, stated domain strategy and preferences, watched domains, saved searches, in-app alerts, and minimal account events such as creating a watch or search. These support account access, synchronization, personalization, and abuse prevention. You can edit your strategy, disable requested AI analysis and in-app alerts, or delete your account and linked member data from Account.
When you request personalized AI analysis, NameRoz sends the domain's stored facts, your stated strategy, and up to ten watched domain names to the configured AI provider. We cache the resulting explanation for your account and record call counts and usage units when available. We do not send your email to the AI provider. AI analysis is disabled if no provider is configured.
When you follow a marketplace link, NameRoz records the domain, destination, page context, timestamp, anonymous session identifier, and available referrer or UTM source. We use these records to understand outbound traffic, not to claim commissions. We do not intentionally store your IP address in the click record. Page views and aggregate analytics help us understand site use. Login attempts are rate limited with a one-way hash of the connecting IP, retained in the database for operational security.
If you submit a newsletter preference, your email and choices are stored with a pending status. Member email alerts are disabled until a provider and consent workflow are configured. NameRoz does not sell personal data. For removal or privacy questions, use the contact address on the Contact page.
